In 2016, Sarah salvaged this 1961 Dutch sloop out of the shadows of a boat yard in Guatemala. She restored it herself and began solo-sailing all over the Caribbean finally coming to a screeching halt in Grenada due to the pandemic.
We were lucky enough to recruit her as an ASA instructor and she has been nothing short of BAD ASS!
She entered Alani in the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta and won first in class!

Of course, life would not be complete without an adorable puppy! This is Maya. Rescued from the streets of Guatemala and first mate on Alani.
Sarah’s dingy, Barkito, has no engine. She rows wherever she needs to go. (Ya, BAD ASS!)
