Discover Grenada in the Southern Caribbean!
Grenada is located at the Southern end of the Caribbean chain of islands between the Caribbean and Atlantic seas. The tri-island country consists of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.
Grenada is the largest island and is located at coordinates 12.1165° N, 61.6790° W, which puts it below the hurricane belt for insurance purposes.
Cruisers, or live-aboard sailors who show up in June through November to hide out during hurricane season, affectionately refer to it as “Camp Grenada”.
Activities in Grenada include dinghy concerts, full-moon parties, cruisers jams, volleyball, yoga, tai chi, dominoes – nearly any fun you can think to do!
Sail like a pirate but eat like a king! Being on a boat doesn’t mean you have to resort to eating “hard tack” dipped in “salmagundi.”
A Caribbean paradise is only a flight away. Grenada's international airport offers direct flights from the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Chris was the ASA instructor for my first certifications in ASA 101, 103, and 104. Not only is he instructive but he made learning fun! Chris concentrates on the details and ensures that the student has every opportunity to learn and practice each essential skill.
