Belize is located in the Caribbean Sea just below Mexico. The islands off the coast offer sailing in warm turquoise waters, exotic beaches, tranquil coral reef snorkeling, and iconic rum shacks – all set in a tropical paradise! Enjoy the sail or take the wheel when you join our Belize Sailing Adventure. After you settle into your private cabin, we sail to the first anchorage, LTD Sailing will host a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Every morning your captain will brief you on the adventures for the day. You will have a selection of activities to join, explore the beaches on your own or just relax on the boat. We do the provisioning for you! We’ll supply the boat with a variety of breakfast, lunch and snack foods. One night we will have an award winner dinner on board. There will be a few nights where you can enjoy dinner ashore at your choice of local eateries. The last night we have a farewell dinner sponsored by the LTD Sailing team. Each guest will receive a complimentary long sleeve LTD sun shirt with a chart of our Belize sailing area on the back. Don’t forget the floaty animal parade!
What: LTD Sailing is hosting our famous “Cruise Crew Review” adventure in Belize! This is a choose your own adventure cruise. It is a great way to get more sailing experience with a professional instructor as your captain, in a beautiful location! (We will also be hosting Italy- Cruise Crew Review in the fall 2022- stay tuned for more on that!)
Where: Placencia, Belize. Fly into Belize City on many major airlines. Then you will need to take a smaller flight to Placencia (Maya Island Air).
When: 5-11 June 2022. You will board the boat at 9AM on Sunday morning. We are off the boat by 11AM on Saturday.
Who: Sarah will be our lead captain. After spending many years sailing around in this area, she will be our expert guide! Captain Chris will also be at the helm, and waiting on confirmation from our third captain.
THE DETAILS
Cost per person: $2700 USD based on double occupancy, $5400 USD for single occupancy
Included in the price:– Spacious catamaran – you (& your mate) will have your own ensuite cabin!
– Most breakfasts and lunches on board, two offshore group dinners (set menu) and one dinner on board
– An LTD Instructor / Captain
– Yacht insurance, mooring balls, dockage
– Limited edition LTD Sailing sun shirt
Not included: Airfare, any lodging needed prior to arrival/departure, ground transportation, meals ashore, alcohol, COVID testing, floaty animals. This is not a “crewed” charter cruise. YOU are the crew! Everyone is welcome to chip in and help with the cooking, cleaning and first mate duties. In previous flotillas, we have had quite the culinary throw down! Got skills? Bring it! If you have any special request for celebrations provisioning, specific accommodations, limitations, etc. please let us know. We want you to be happy, comfortable and excited to be sailing in exotic places!
